SVdP's Peninsula Family Resource Center (PFRC) is a is a Safety-Net Program for those who have no where else to turn for help. This homelessness prevention program assists with basic survival necessities and provides wellness support to families and individuals at risk of homelessness in San Mateo County.

SVdP's PFRC is a referral-based program. Individuals and families needing help with rent or utilities should first seek assistance from a San Mateo County CORE Agency  If the CORE Agency cannot assist, a referral is sent to St. Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County.

If necessary, SVdP's Vincentian volunteers visit the homes of our neighbors to lend a hand and heart during a time of crisis and provide assistance. (Please note that we do not cover first month's rent or security deposits.)

For those individuals and families who may need assistance with clothing and/or food, a referral is not needed. Please contact SVdP's Help Line during the hours listed below to request these items.

SVdP’s model of service is the personal, Home Visit. The Home Visit is the heart of our vocation; our opportunity to meet and to serve our neighbors. When we are called by our neighbors for help, it is our calling to come to their aid. If you would like more information, please contact our Help Line using the number below.
